Shreya Ghoshal has won the Asiavision award 2012 for best playback singer female. The award is for the songs 'cham cham( mallusingh)' and ' nilaave nilaave (chattakari)'.
This is the second consecutive year that Shreya has received the Asiavision award. Shreya bagged this award for the song 'kannodu kannoram (veeraputhran)' last year.
