The sathyam audios company taking music lovers to that good old era of gramophone records. The company is planning to launch LP (Long Playing) gramophone record, featuring eight popular songs of Shrya Ghoshal. LP gramophone record, featuring eight popular songs of legendary K J Yesudas was released by M Jayachandran at a function held at Ernakulam Press Club yesterday.
The LP records are played at 33 revolutions per minute. It was in 1958 that the Gramophone Company of India (better known as HMV) brought out the first microgroove LP in India and 10 years later the first LP record came out in Malayalam. The company says "It is an experimental venture from the company. The reason why we decided to launch LP records is that there are many people who still listen to them. The best thing about the records is that they have terrific sound quality. You get the same effect of a studio recording". so we can listen to shreya Ghoshal song with the same effect of sudio recording.
