Five nominations in South Filmfare Awards

Shreya ghoshal was nominated for five songs in south filmfare award includin two malayalam songs. The malayalam songs are 'kizhaku pookum' and 'manju mazha'.'Un Perai Sollum', 'Eradu Jadeyannu' and 'Yellu Jhinugiruva' are the other nominated songs.

Kannoram Chingaram (Rathinirvedam)

'Kannoram Chingaram' is a solo song sung by shreya Ghoshal from the movie 'Rathinirvedam'. It is one of the latest hit in malayalam. It starts with a slight and light music for a second and soon we got Shreya on 4th sec. Again it is a slow flowing track. I don't know what to say about Shreya's sweet voice and perfect pronunciation. Just awesome, fabulous. It is a 4 min 02 sec long track.

This song was composed by M. jayachandran. This song is very special to Jayachandran since it is his 100th song. It is yet another gift from Shreya- jayachandran team to the music lovers. Shreya visited Kerala for the recording of this song. That was her first visit to kerala to record a song. All the previous songs were recorded in Mumbai. This one is Recorded in SS studio Thycaud in TVM. I have already posted some photographs of shreya at the studio( Click here to view ). The lyrics for the song have been given by Murukan Kattakada. The wordings are beautiful.

Madhumaasa mounaraagam (Rathinirvedam)

The song 'madhumaasa mounaraagam' is a new malayalam song of Shreya ghoshal from the movie Rathinirvedam( Remake ). It is a beautiful melody by shreya. This one is a slow flowing track and is a sad song. The singers chosen could not have been more perfect- Shreya Ghoshal’s voice is perfectly fit for this song.Shreya really understand the emotion needed for the song and have delivered with the goods. Even a person who don't know malayalam can get the sad feelings of this song. As usual malayalam pronunciation oh Shreya Ghoshal is unbelievable and i don't know what to say about the sweet voice of the melody queen.

Shreya Ghoshal's first visit to Kerala for recording a song.

It was Shreya's first visit to Kerala to record a song and she sang beautiful melodies for the movie ' Rathinirvedam'. All the other malayalam songs of Shreya were recorded in mumbai.i am sharing a rare picture at the studio which is published in a malayalam news paper. Also you can read the news report by clicking the link below this post. She came to Kerala because it was M.Jayachandran's 100th song. Later addressing media persons Shreya told that she owes special thanks to Jayachandran since she won the kerala state award for his composition.

The audio launch function of 'rathinirvedam' held at Tvm yesterday. jayachandran expressed big thanks to shreya in the function.

Shreya Ghoshal in Malayalam

She came, she sang and she conquered.Her popularity in Kerala is growing tremendously. almost all malayalee loves her songs.what is special is the way she manages to get the right enunciation and expression in malayalam as well as other languages. Winning awards seems to come naturally for this talented youngster who has already won four National awards and three State awards for the best female playback singer. Language is no barrier for this 26-year-old singer.

       The 'World Language Research Foundation' says, Malayalam is the most difficult language of all to learn, and in particular the hardest to pronounce. Into this 'phonetic jungle', lilts in a cool breeze from Bengal: Shreya Ghoshal. Listen to the malayalam songs she has rendered. Catch the way she pronounces each word. Take in those inflections and intonations, and how well she enlivens the feelings and emotions in the lyric.You would have accepted her as a Malayalee singer. Although she started her journey in malayalam with the song ' vidaparayukayano in BigB, it was the song in Banaras that really made Shreya a household name in Malayalam.Vennilave in Sagar Alias Jacky and the swinging Anuraaga Vilochananayi in Neelathamara crowned her as the queen of the charts in Malayalam. And Shreya finished the year 2010 as the top singer in Malayalam with every other music director wanting to work with this music powerhouse. This journey is continuing 1n 2011 also.

Shreya Ghoshal will give voice to the song in the upcoming Malayalam movie ‘veeraputhran’. The Song is tuned by Ramesh Narayan. The other singers are Yesudas and Shankar Mahadevan. No other information about this song.
Also shreya will sing in an upcoming movie ' Lucky durbar' . Music by suryanarayanan. Lyrics by Subhash cherthala . The other singers include Yesudas, Benny Dhayal, Jassie gift, Franko, etc.

Shreya ghoshal’s new Malayalam song ‘ Chembarathi kammalita….’ from the movie Manikyakkallu released. Yet another super hit from Shreya Ghoshal and M.Jayachandran team. This 4.35 min long track is a duet with Ravi Shankar. Once again shreya’s Malayalam diction is awesome. Great work by jayachandran and beautiful lyrics make this song sweeter.
